Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity and quality of your merino wool vest, please follow these care instructions carefully:
1. Washing
- Wash on a gentle wool program at 30°C (86°F).
- Use only enzyme-free wool detergent to protect the natural fibers.
- Avoid washing frequently; merino wool is self-cleaning and does not require regular washing.
2. Spot Cleaning
- If a stain occurs, try cleaning the affected area locally using a damp sponge or cloth.
- For dirt or mud, allow it to dry completely, then gently brush or swipe it off.
3. Drying
- Do NOT tumble dry.
- While the vest is still wet, reshape it gently by hand.
- Always dry flat to maintain its original shape.
4. Airing Instead of Washing
- To freshen up the vest, simply hang it out to air. Merino wool naturally neutralizes odors.
5. Ironing
- If necessary, iron inside out on a very low heat setting.
6. Dry Cleaning
- If opting for dry cleaning, ensure that no Trichloroethylene is used.
